Day 1 : Arrival at Cochin On to Parayil Homestead

Is a family home, nestling in acres of fruit trees, coconut groves and ambling pathways? Built more than a century ago, this is an elegant, traditional country home that retains the grandeur and history of an aristocratic family. Here's where you'll find antique woodwork, ancient granaries, and isolated attics! Ancestral stories abound, and so does the rustic essence of traditional kerala architecture…Now lovingly restored and unobtrusively modernized, the Parayil Homestead give you a look into the pages of its history.

Our executive will receive you at cochin airport and you will be directly transferred to Parayil Homestead.
Reach the homestead where the host will be eagerly waiting to welcome you.

Day 2 : On to Kattapana; Mayapott Bungalow ' a plantation hideway'

A bungalow that is literally built on a rockSet amidst 100 acres of cardamom plantation, mayapott is built around a huge rock, which was used as a resting point for hunters. Legend has it that the bonfire around which they rested was a safe refuge from the herd of wild elephants that raged the area. Built entirely out of chiseled rock from the region, the structure is unique in the fact that little cement is used to bond the building rocks together (no cause for concern since there is strong skeleton that holds up the structure). Each rock was painstakingly template on to the other and the structure took more than 2 full years to be completed.

Morning after your breakfast at the homestay, proceed to Kattapana to get imprisoned in the plantation bungalow 'Mayapott'.
Reach Kattapana in 4 hrs.
Check into the bungalow & relax.
Later in the evening proceed for a walk along with plantations
Overnight stay.



Day 3 : At Mayapott

Morning after breakfast proceed to Periyar
Reach Periyar & enjoy boating at lake periyar
Back to the bungalow
Overnight stay.

Day 4 :At Kumarakom ; Day cruise & night stay in a fabulous houseboat

Morning after breakfast, proceed to Kumarakom
Reach kumarakom Jetty & board into the houseboat
Now get ready for a truly unforgettable experience - a day cruise & night stay -- your home for the next exotic hours.

We continue our journey as evening make way to night. Somewhere along the course, houseboat drops anchor for an unforgettable night in the backwaters. Enjoy to the brink this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Day 5 : At Kumarakom ; Day cruise & night stay in a fabulous houseboat

In time transfer to the airport for your safe departur
